Susan is an established financing professional with almost 30 years’ experience across investment banking, wealth management and impact capital. She spent over 20 years at JP Morgan, where she developed wide-ranging expertise in structuring and executing complex capital solutions across debt and equity in leverage finance, credit, and restructuring. She has worked with corporates, project finance and high growth start-ups in developed and Emerging Markets including Russia, Eastern Europe and Africa. As a senior member of the JP Morgan Reputation Risk Committee, Susan gained extensive risk management experience assessing reputation, legal and regulatory risks associated with transactions, clients, products and markets across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to her role in Reputation Risk, Susan led and developed JP Morgan’s Environmental and Social Risk Management team in EMEA as the bank and its clients were facing increasingly complex environmental and social issues in often challenging markets.
Whilst at UBS, Susan was Head of UK Family Offices and Emerging Markets Ultra Clients where she worked extensively with multiple large family offices and investment banking partners to structure and deliver complex investment solutions. Most recently, Susan has built an advisory and capital raising practice in the impact capital markets; helping charities and foundations successfully access impact capital. Susan is an independent Non-Executive Director of LGT Wealth Management where she chairs the Audit and Risk Committees.
Susan holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Balliol College, Oxford.
