Over the course of her thirty-year career, Laurence has developed a deep understanding of risk, infrastructure investment and financial markets. Her passion for considering environmental and social impact, alongside the necessity of financial returns, has led her to develop policies and processes that include ESG and carbon impact in real assets investments.
Laurence's began her international career as Analyst at Moody’s Investors Service, before becoming a Senior Director in Leveraged Structured Finance in Deutsche Bank. Laurence then joined Fitch Ratings, where she became Head of Project Finance for the Infrastructure Group and was responsible for project finance and regulated water utilities in the EMEA region. Recent roles have included Head of Infrastructure Debt and then Head of Quantitative Research (Real Assets) at Aviva Investors, where she built tools to measure relative risk and return across real assets.
Laurence also sits on the Advisory Board of EDHECinfra (Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute), and also sits on the investment committee of Temporis Capital's renewable investment strategy. She is also a Senior Adviser to GIRA Strategic Finance, a merchant bank delivering strategic investment and financial advice in the energy transition and real asset sectors. She also sits on the investment committee.
