Antonio Garate
Head of Asset Management
Antonio is a highly skilled and experienced investment professional. He joins ImpactA from Allianz Global Investors, where he held the role of Portfolio Manager, Vice President within its infrastructure debt team, working on a range of asset management activities for projects across Latin America, Southern Europe and the USA.
Prior to this Antonio was a Senior Associate at PIC (Pension Insurance Corporation) with responsibility for managing a portfolio of direct debt infrastructure investments spanning across sectors including PPPs, utilities, renewables and transportation, including assets which required remediation. Antonio also spent some of his early career at Fitch Ratings as an Associate Director leading the analysis of multiple corporate and project finance issuers, including APRR or Abertis.
Antonio has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carlos III University in Madrid, Spain, and is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
